TRANSVERSE MOTION & SLEW ANGLE
A traversing sub-base is available as an option for bringing the basket to the deck edge, facilitating transfer without slewing the boom inboard. Four manual control levers provide controls for:
WINCHES
Two separate fail safe winches control the deployment of the basket and clump weight, the clump weight winch also facilitating full emergency recovery of the basket on to the VOO deck. A light tension slave mode is provided that allows the clump weight to be deployed together with the basket while only operating the “basket” control lever as required during the operation.
